During this event, kids ages 5-10 will get the chance to participate in a mini firefighter training camp, made up of fun activities and fire safety training.  They will also learn from Clarksville Firefighters, tour a fire station, check out cool firefighting vehicles, and test their skills in our obstacle course.  We will end the day with a special swearing in ceremony for our newest Junior Firefighters.

This is a FREE event, but children must be pre-registered.  In order to accommodate as many children as possible, we will be offering two different sessions of this event.

Bluegrass Jamfest & Scamble

Have you ever dreamed of playing bluegrass music with strangers in front of

screaming fans?  This scramble may be for you!

If you’ve ever played in a jam session, or if you can play three chords in rhythm, come out and try your luck.  Musicians enter the scramble individually and bands are created by picking names out of hats - one for each instrument.  Your new band will then have a 20-minute practice session to prepare songs and stage patter for a six minute turn on the stage in front of a live audience.

The winner will be chosen based entirely on audience response, so stacking the audience is strongly  encouraged! Pack a lawn chair and come out and join us for a really fun bluegrass event!
